The Wingnuts Play Politics Again

This rather lengthy post is a valid and full explaination on why all this phoney hullabaloo about the "Times" is just that...phoney hullaballo.

Did you know SWIFT has a PUBLIC website? Here.
Among the items on said site:
Cooperation - SWIFT has a history of cooperating in good faith with authorities such as central banks, treasury departments, law enforcement agencies and appropriate international organisations, such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF*), in their efforts to combat abuse of the financial system for illegal activities.

I bet the crafty terrorists couldn't figure that out though huh? Big secrets the "times" revealed there. The wingnuts should be redfaced over this one.

I'm wondering why, with SWIFT around, there are more security breaches in the banks than ever before. Computers are stolen from banks on a regular basis, and people's identities are stolen therefore. My daughter's been a victim of this, and so have many others that I know.

Stealing computers from banks is illegal.

You want treason? Here's some. How about revealing the identity of a CIA agent who's mission was to infiltrate terrorist organizations who attempt to purchase WMD's, and in so doing, destroy years of information gathering, not to mention putting the lives of said agent (Plame) and all those working with her in jeapordy. Any treason there? Or for that matter, how about lying to the nation and the world about why we should fight a phony war that's cost our nation over 2,500 brave men and women, not to mention tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi women and children? Burning a flag? Horrible! Wiping your behind with the U.S. constitution? Hey! No problem! I can't wait for a Democratic majority in November, and impeachment proceedings in January!

I have to say that I agree with you 100% Tim, but the problem is, it's too late now to impeach the mad cowboy, unfortunately.

By the time he was actually impeached, even if they were to begin proceedings now, it would be 2008 and time for the next pRez.

I myself am very baffled that so many wanted to censure him, and it never happened. So many wanted to impeach him earlier on, and it never happened.

I guess it was a "we can't do it in reality" or laxidazial (sp?) mentality? I don't know. I just wish it had happened, and it could have.

I guess we could still try for what it's worth, but I don't know. I just don't know.

Methinks that it's looking more and more like we're just going to have to make sure he's voted out, then hope and pray he's put where he belongs -- in prison, with the key thrown away (and maybe his you-know-whats run up a flagpole, too).

I have a feeling, even with the wingnuttia around, that it won't be just a "bad week".

I'm hoping it's the beginning of a very bad 1 1/2 years...
