It will be so awesome to stick in it your faces when he is found innocent...and...

A photo of DeLay grinning from ear to ear doesn't pack quite the punch in a Democratic attack ad as one that looks more like the mugshot of, say, actor Hugh Grant.

Too bad Delay didn't get the New Orleans police treatment before his mug shot, but that is just for the little people. Delay may very well be found not guilty or not go to trial, not because of the facts but because of a corrupt system. Read the Texas Observer for the history and info on this. Maybe Delay can claim it wasn't his fault since he has been in a family environment of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Texas Revolution and the John Birch Society and not enough will or intelligence to think his way through it.

Game:
I will pray for God to help you overcome your sad state of denial. Delay is a crook. Delay can say he's a Christian all he wants to, but that doesn't make it so.
Body cavity search? Ron, you are so naughty, but I said some pretty bad words when I saw the photo. How does Delay rate to have a professional photographer take a glamour photo of him for a mug shot? This is the best pic I've ever seen of the bug killer. Bet Michael, Nick, and Winona are broiling mad about now.

So the lame game likes to stick it in people's faces; that answers some questions.

The Donkey is reminded of an old song, Smile.

Smile tho' your heart is aching,
Smile even tho' it's breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by,

If you smile
thro' your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow,
You'll see the sun come shin-ing thro' for you

Light up your face with gladness,
Hide ev-'ry trace of sadness,
Al -'tho a tear may be ever so near,

That's the time,
You must keep on trying,
Smile, what's the use of crying,
You'll find that life is still worth-while,

If you just smile,

"'Smile' was the theme music for Chaplin last silent picture 'Modern Times' in 1936. It became officially 'Smile' when John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added lyrics to Chaplin's composition in 1954. Nat 'King' Cole recorded the song and it became a hit!"

Does any one remember this verse of a different song?

So I was the one with all the glory,
While you were the one with all the strain.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.

Well, I don't remember that one, but I do remember

Well, there's some sad things known to man
But ain't too much sadder than
The tears of a clown
When there's no one around

Dedanna:

You reminded the Donkey of another song:

So take a good look at my face
You'll see my smile looks out of place
Just look closer, it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears.

I need a pardon. I need a pardon

'Cause raindrops will hide my teardrops.
And no one will ever know.
That I'm cryin'... cryin' when I go outside.
To the world outside my tears, I refuse to explain.
Oh, I wish it would rain. (Oh, how I wish that it would rain)
Ooo, baby.

As someone who lives in this shithead's district, I am glad someone is finally raising the bullshit flag on his activities. BTW, I love the "cavity search" caption... I laughed my ass off!

Eileen,
Glad to see your comment here. Went to your blog but did not find a place to comment or your e-mail. Perhaps you can tell me who the woman was on C-SPAN a few months back from Sugarland who has a great website on the Texas shenanigans. I lost the site name.

Game, if he comes out innocent he just lucked out. This is the dirtiest guy in washington...of that I have NO DOUBT. and how you could support such evil and corruption of the democractic process leaves me in awe, are you truly a REAL American or a republican first.

It's like I say, Ron, the GOP is drunk on its power now that it is in control for the first time in 40 years. They are, mostly, Republican first and haven't been able to see the forest for the trees (i.e. the total immorality of the Bush Administration).
Plus, they're deluded. A good example of that is the painting my friend's neighbor has hanging on her bedroom wall.
Bush sitting with a flag draped over his lap, the scriptures in his hand, and the light of Heaven shining through a window and coming down upon him.
She says it looks like a picture of a saint and totally turned her stomach. How crazy are these people?!!! Y'know I'm beginning to think he might be the Anti-Christ after all!!

Hi Anonymous,

Sorry you couldn't post a comment on my blog... some asshole started leaving scary comments back in May, so I took away the "anonymous comment" option.

And sorry it took me so long to come back here and find your response- been crazy in my house these past few weeks. I'm not sure who the woman with the website is, sorry! :(
