Latest on Iraq. Not much reason for us to be there.

Who is this man talking about?
"The rest of their grim vision is defined by a warped image of the past -- a declaration of war on the idea of progress, itself. And whatever lies ahead in the war against this ideology, the outcome is not in doubt: Those who despise freedom and progress have condemned themselves to isolation, decline, and collapse."

From some of your listeners. No coffee table so this will do. Regarding "character" counts. The prop on radar detectors is exactly what the massah wants the masses in Plantation Roswell to believe and behave accordingly. Speed limits are often not set at the safe limit but under it to create a revenue source through writing tickets. Many places nationwide have a substanial amount of their revenue from traffic offenses, i.e. speed traps. It has been shown through studies that these and other measures e.g. as pulling over traffic on heavily travelled roads in a blind area in order to "catch them", and at the same time enforcing pull over laws, instead of being for "safety" actually decreases safety. But then of course safety is just a buzz word to justify their ill gotten gain. Some places actually have police departments that do very little other than operate traffic traps. And in Albuquerque we learn that people returning home from the balloon festival were pulled over in some sort of massive traffic stop to find something to write a ticket on, seatbelts, tail lights, insurance, etc. Also, people had personal information taken as part of a government funded "survey" and were asked if they had been drinking. Not that anything was to be done necessarily if they had but just to collect info on how many had for the government funded survey. You can get more on this type of abuse at the the National Motorists Association's website at www.motorists.org and Ed Wallace's Wheels website. People should drive with respect but the law, and law enforcement, needs to not lie about the reasons for their actions and treat the public with reason and respect. To the extent that they do not, there is no reason to respect such systems and laws and children should be taught accordingly despite the governemnt-corporate controlled propaganda in schools. Again, "character" counts is used as a propaganda device to keep the little people in their place through fear, guilt and ignorance. You should pass this along to Josephson so he will at least know that some of us are on to his propaganda and will dissiminate this info. Also, might pass it on to our self-appointed "red coat" rulers.
One listener stated that newsman Johnson(?) was again involved in anti-Richardson administration editorializing when he called your program and said that the state government was awash in money. They wanted to know if this was the case, then why didn't the Health Care Security for New Mexicans pass in the last legislative session guaranteing basic health care for all New Mexicans through a private-public co-op? Its well known here, but of course not publisized in the local media that Roswell is a focal point for anti-Richarson activity. Obviously, our local reps think it is more important to protect cock-fighting in New Mexico (they were on the losing end of a 55-15 vote in the House, but through "delay"ing tactics, they and others were able to keep it from getting to the gov.
Government should be a servant to the people, not a master or corporate or anything else lackey, or non-existent.
