If the polls and surveys were accurate would Bush have such a approval waiting?
"The lessons are clear: risk factors such as government secrecy, inappropriate influence of elite groups and distorted political finance apply to both wealthy and poorer countries, and no rich country is immune to the scourge of corruption. "
Not to worry , Bush is immune to corruption, an untouchable, just like Cheney and Kenney Boy Lay.
If the media didn't cooperate with Bu$h & Co. to the extent that it does and our own Congress would step up to the plate and investigate these matters more, it would have to come out that the U.S. is more corrupt than is thought. Sorry to hear France is ahead of us (Viva La France to all you Francophobes out there!!) and glad to hear that Holland is not. Speaking of that, what's wrong with Holland? If I had the $$ I would go there myself, to see the tulips and windmills in the Spring, visit Rotterdam where some of my family originated, and Amsterdam, for sure. Who could resist the museums with all the Rembrandts and van Goghs there would be? Not me!
