I loved the post!! "Thanks for the shitty intel, you selfish bastard.'

Amen. He fit in so well with Cheney whose only concern about going to war was that Halliburton be enriched.

LONDON (AFP) - Sun Myung Moon, founder of the Unification Church, is to fly into London after the British government lifted a 10-year ban on his entering the country, the Daily Telegraph reported.

They used to call the followers Moonies, now they are called Congressmen and White House staffers.

Iraq will REALLY be Democratic!! This is what their president said:

By Juan Cole

11/02/05 "ICH" -- -- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said Tuesday before the United Nations: "I categorically refuse the use of Iraqi soil to launch a military strike against Syria or any other Arab country . . . "But at the end of the day my ability to confront the US military is limited and I cannot impose on them my will."

So let's get this straight. The president of Iraq elected six months after the US "turned over sovereignty" on June 28, 2004 is saying before the United Nations that George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld decide whether his country can be used as a base to attack other countries, and he is unable to influence such decisions-- even though he categorically rejects any such action."

Yes, Mr. Bush, You Lied Us Into War

Besides undermining the environment, borrowing more money from foreign nations than all previous presidents combined, and causing the poverty rate to rise every year, you lied us into a war from which your friends and family are profiting financially. A soldier in Iraq now paying for your lies wrote the following:
“There are battles which need to be fought and…battles which serve no good purpose. Afghanistan and Bin Laden lay forgotten…discarded toys left by a spoiled child. Iraq is the new frontier of poor foreign policy and poor planning. Even the soldiers can see it. Why do you think nobody is re-enlisting? They don't want…to fight a lo[o]sing battle and to die for an empty promise…that somehow staying in Iraq makes America safer.

We have created a martyr factory here, and we are beginning to wade through the next Vietnam. How wrong do you want to be before you…send the troops home? 2,000 dead?… How about 10,000?"

Sgt. S., Iraq

The New York Times reported November 6th:
“An intelligence report…from February 2002, said Ibn al-Shaykh al-Libi, "was intentionally misleading the debriefers" in making claims about Iraqi support for Al Qaeda's work with illicit weapons...
President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Colin L. Powell,…and other administration officials repeatedly cited Mr. Libi's information as "credible" evidence that Iraq was training Al Qaeda members in the use of explosives and illicit weapons.
Among the…most prominent assertions was one by Mr. Bush, who said in a major speech in Cincinnati in October 2002 that "we've learned that Iraq has trained Al Qaeda members in bomb making and poisons and gases."
For the lady at our protest who still believes Iraq was behind 9/11, your president, himself, said on September 17th, 2003, "We have no evidence that…Hussein was involved in the 11th September attacks.”
