Oh So Sad

You know, it amazes me how how desperate these lopers are to find "media bias". Here's the latest outrage.

Matt Lauer: "All right, Karl Rove and Scooter Libby what’s their future? What’s your prediction in terms of indictments? Yes or no?"
Franken: "Oh they, they’ll be indicted. I, I am absolutely sure and this is about, of course, the war in Iraq really. It’s about the justification for the war and smearing Joe Wilson by outing his wife who’s a CIA agent. George H.W. Bush, the President’s father, said, as, when he was head of the CIA, that outing a CIA agent is treason. I, I agree. So I think that Rove and Libby will be executed." Lauer laughed along with those in the studio.............

Matt Lauer just smiled and laughed when Al Franken predicted the execution of Karl Rove and Lewis Libby. But a few weeks ago when Pat Robertson called for the assasination of Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, an anti-American dictator who has cozied up with Iran’s ayatollahs and Cuba’s communists, Today was outraged enough to lead the show with Robertson’s supposed transgression.
“We fine broadcasters for using four-letter words, we say that’s offensive. So is it offensive to call for the assassination of a world leader?” NBC’s
Matt Lauer castigated back on August 23. But a left-wing host talks about executing top ranking officials of the executive branch — that’s just a joke, right? Or perhaps Today’s indignant reaction to Pat Robertson was, shall we say, a little “staged.”

Now for those of you who are soooooooo damned sensitive here's the deal. The idea that Bush and Cheney will be convicted of treason AND executed is compeletely nil. THAT'S WHY IT'S FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!! It's something that would be extremely odd. Contrasts is an integral part of comedy. He's a freekin political comedian for god sake.
Now Pat Robertsons job is "speaker of God to people" . He made a serious statement.

Give it up. Desperation if I have ever seen it...Is this the best ya got?

Commentary on the current state of this blog:

WTF is up with all the testosterone slinging between donkey & game? Man, the name calling crap is getting OLD!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like it's all we read here any more!

Guys, both of you, find some honestly intelligent conversation elsewhere until you can cool off, ok? Thanks.

Dedanna, I have missed you posting on here lately. I always learn a lot from your posts.

I, personally, think the Donkey could give us all lessons in creative insults. If you look at them impersonally, most of them are extremely funny. The Game certainly does not have Donkey's talent at insults.

I only skim most of those posts, and if you have read my posts you know I don't call anyone names, creatively or otherwise. However, if Donkey was throwing his insults at me, I do think I would think they were funny.

The biggest kick I got out of any comments anyone has made out of any of the articls I have written was when someone said he had read "Rage" and it was without a doubt the biggest bunch of crap he had ever read. I laughed out loud when I read his comment.

But then I have 6 kids, so my skin is pretty thick.

The only comment I would make about it is that the Donkey has so much knowledge he could share with the rest of us in the time he spends insulting the game.

I feel like I should apologize for all the posts I have put on this blog since I have gotten back. I have been obsessed!!

Thank you, Lonna;
On your comment The Donkey could share more knowledge, The Donkey has a hard time sorting through the days events and deciding what is important. It is easier to flame the lame game than read, digest and compose a serious comment. Insulting does not take a whole lot of thought, which is why most Bushies do it so often.

The Donkey could simply ignore the lame game. The reality is the lame game interests the Donkey. The Donkey studies and experiments with it like a lab rat going through a maze. When the Donkey bores of manipulating the lame game, then the insults will stop. It may not be fair matching wits with him, who is the Donkey kidding. It is not even close to fair. The donkey knows after all is said, the only thing resolved is the Donkey is much better at insulting than the lame game. Still nemo me impune lacessit-no one provokes me with impunity.
I do think it is odd, after the things the lame game posted to Dedanna, that she would get upset over the Donkey calling the lame game anything. If she does not like the posts than all she has to do is run her mouse pointer over where the post reads the Donkey said. Click on the word said, and The Donkey's comment is no more. No more phrases like, You've got a big hole in your head, now shut it.

ta ta for now

TODAYS example:

Hey Lame game;
You would be out of your depth in a parking lot puddle. If ignorance were a disability, you'd get the full pension. A long period of non-posting would be most welcome on your part. You are the kind of person who, when one first meets you, one doesn't like you. But when one gets to know you better, one hates you. And what meaning do you expect your delusional self-important statements of unknowing, inexperienced opinion to have with us?

dedanna, as you can see you should not be lumping me in with donkey...

its just a sign of bias

Hey lame game:

Ignore this. You are validating my inherent mistrust of strangers. What possessed you to think that you were capable of being entertaining or interesting to read?
To quote Thomas Brackett Reed: "They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge."

Excuse you, game and donkey both?

I am taking no bias here. I am asking you both to cool off, and get into intelligent debate and conversation.

You both come from opposite ends of the pole, to say the least, but the insults, whether funny or not, are really not doing a whole heckuva lot for the blog.

Again, I did say both of you, and am not lumping anyone in the same coal with the exception of the insulting one!

It's getting old! I'm not laughing any more!

Donkey's become a comedian all of a sudden, and lame game's become, well, whatever he is? LOL.

There is no one on my blog who simply spews hate and insults like the donkey...yes people attack you, sometimes harshly...but the comments are usually based on the topic...if dedanna can't see that 90% of my comments are based on the topic and 99% of donkeys are based on insults and hate, then I guess that is a really sad commentary for you.

Hey lame game;

You are a canker, an open wound. The Donkey would rather kiss a lawyer than be seen with you. You are a fiend and a sniveling coward, and you have bad breath. You are the unholy spawn of a bandy-legged hobo and a syphilitic camel. You wear strangely mismatched clothing with oddly placed stains. You are degenerate, noxious and depraved.

Granted, Donkey´s insults don´t do much to further debate and understanding, but they are entertaining and illustrate the anger Liberals have been feeling about the trash the Bushie hatemongers have been spewing toward and about us since the anal cyst guy got popular. Game knows how to dish it out, but can´t take it. Donkey´s just giving a little of Game´s own back to him and as I´ve said before he name calls with style. My suggestion, Dedanna, Jim, and Ron is that if you don´t like it, ignore it, as there´s plenty of other material to read on this blog. :)

Democat,

I like lonna try to look at it out of context. If I was reading it in a book without it being attached it is quite entertaining. If donkey truly hates to that extent he might want to do some soul searching. I too hate some of the ideas that Game forwards and promotes. It's the ideas and his promotion of them that bother me. I want Game and Donkey both to feel like they have a friend in me that they can speak to honestly and recieve honest answers.

Well, OK, so it will probably never happen, but I wouldn't shed a tear over it if it did happen. The deaths of 2,000+ of America's young men and women are due to the Bush Administration's incompetence, greed, deceit, and warmongering. Forget Valerie Plame for a minute. The rest of what they've done is treason for sure and I don't care why they get taken out as long as they do. Not to mention the fact that they sanction torture and are war criminals, but will they ever be tried for this in an international court? Also, add in the 100,000 Iraqi civilians, over 50% of whom were women and children. No, I won't shed a tear if Dick Cheney and Karl Rove get the chair and if they do, I hope it's the one down in Fla. that doesn't work too well with the first jolt. How's that for venomous anger?

Am I so full of venomous anger that the other bloggers are afraid to respond to me? :-) C'est la vie!

Perhaps the other bloggers think I was/am in The RWZ and will never respond to that one. C'est la vie!
Still wouldn't shed a tear over
Cheney, Rove, etc. and I'm not that crazy about capital punishment.

First off, G A M E there are words that can't describe your input here. You are the minority, see if you can find a better way to win friends and influence people. Name calling, is just another form of American Slang, we are all Americans, except the Bush group, there are not enough words to describe that illegal bunch but certainly he doesn't represent Americans 35% approval rate, my dog does better than that and I don't own one - The Maniac

Since Game is offering his imput will he please explain why PEACE is a bad thing. Why is peace unchristian when Jesus is the Prince of PEACE? Why is peace suddenly unAmerican since Bush became "President"? Why do the Bushies hate peace and think that all peaceniks hate America? I can't understand this, Game. Won't you please enlighten us?
