A Better America

I just saw Tom Delay is not runnng for reelection. This is great news for America. You can play the two or three degrees of Tom Delay and connect him somehow to the vast majority of the graft and corruption going on right now.
We'll always remember your smiling mug shot. A happy crook. Good riddence Tom Delay. Please go far away.

Me-I am ecstatic over the news. First thing I did when I heard it was to call my Liberal friends who were thrilled, too. Heard from Lonna that you are very happy, too, Ron. Kinda figured you would be. :-) Hope the next thing is that we hear The Hammer is on his way to the slammer. I agree with Nancy Pelosi, tho, it can't end here. There needs to be a full ethics investigation.
Speaking of investigations, that's what Jeff Bingaman is calling for re: Bush and the wiretapping and why he isn't siding with Feingold on the censure. Am still waiting to hear from Kerry re: this, but expect he feels the same way as Jeff. Somehow, I think any investigation will be delayed until Bu$h/Cheney are out of office, if it ever happens.
Also, Dedanna, why not just send Delay on a hunting trip with Icky Dicky and not wait for a resurrection? LOL
Ciao!

'sides, the only way we'll be rid of these neocon assholes is to make sure they can't come back. Only way to do that is with guns... *hears them firing now* lol.

Gah! Dedanna, you sound like my friends the Maniacs. "Linda-"Come on Patriot Act, we're ready for you..." LOL Guess, it's time for a revolution, but I hope it won't come to that.
Heard you on The Fox today, Ron. FYI-my fav Genesis alumni is
Phil Collins because I love those "wimpy" songs (translation romantic ballads). Also, did you go to the forum? Also, was looking at my new Dex telephone book (yellow pages)and saw a full page ad for one of the oldies stations and looked and didn't see one for Roswell Radio. Seems to me that with five stations, it would be a great idea to have a full (yellow) page ad and KPSA could even advertise "Roswell Says" in the ad, so feel free to pass the idea on to your boss. :-)

I hope we can have a Better America. It might be better accomplished through Not impeaching Pres. Bush, but rather by a censure. If he is impeached next year they probably will already have removed Cheney from office. Then they will put someone in who will get a year's worth of being President and use that in helping them get elected in 2008. They will run as a "reform" candidate and show what they did against coruption, and ignore or attack any of the other serious issues ,e.g. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, corporate welfare, tax breaks for the wealthiest, more cuts in other social programs, bankruptcy laws, etc. It would be better for America
if Democrats (populists) take Congress in 2006 and then the Presidency in 2008. The two years in between let Bush veto if he will, it will just add more to the Republican defeat for President and
Congress in 2008. The current Administration's policies are a war on the Middle Class, intended or otherwise. Actually, most of them and theirs are out to get whatever they can regardless how it effects anyone else. Greed run amock. The thing to watch out for in 2009, if the Democrats win it all, will be an at least attempted terroirist attack. The Radical Islamic Fundamentalists support the Bush Administration because it supports war and turmoil which they use to increase their power. Someone opposed to this will be attacked to get the game going. And there are those here who wouldn't mind such an attack for the same reasons. The first Trade Center attack in 2003 and the Waco incident 2 days later were no coincidence. It served to redirect energy, time and $ in the Clinton Administration from attempts at liberal social programs and toward terrorism and security issues. If populists/Democrats can win the Presidency and Congress in 2008, protect against terrorists attacks of whatever origin and institute FDR-style reforms, then there can be a Truly Better America by 2010. If not, better save your money now to get one of those Mandatory passports and hope you can get out of Walled America and have somewhere to go.

Speaking of building walls, wouldn't you think that Bu$h might want to build wall between here and Canada, too, to prevent the mass exodus likely to take place if the neo-cons manage to "cheat" their way into a 3rd "victory in
'08? Seriously! No LOL

Living with your sins exposed for all to see for the rest of your life is the worst kind of hell for those guys.
DC-Good Idea, somehow that doesnt seem to be one of his priorities and I dont have time to add the job of promotions director. Maybe if we could improve the economy enough we could hire some more people!...Main reason I detest Phil Collins, those wimpy love songs! :-)

You are sooo right on the Canada thing. Real democracy is so much more appealing.

Ron, you have NO romance in your soul! I love Phil Collins' love songs, as well as most of the rest of 'em.
(Gotta say one thing, at least, for your old buddy Joe-it's really nice to get my Manilow without the sarcasm. :-) )
And why doesn't JD make it a priority? It would make good business sense, but it doesn't seem that he really wants the show to do well cuz then the truth about the Bu$h Administration, etc. that his good friends Adair and "Flyover" Foley don't want people to know about would get out to more of 'em.

Also, FYI, REAL MEN aren't afraid to show their feelings (The Game doesn't count as he's a Vulcan.), so I wouldn't call love songs from Phil Collins, etc. wimpy at all. Quite the opposite. At any rate, they're a lot better than heavy metal-ugh! Crash! Bang! Scream! Crash! Bang! Scream!... and I suppose you call THAT music?

The Game is not logical enough to be a vulcan.

You speak the truth, Grasshopper. As I mentioned in another part of the blog, the real reason Game has no feelings is that he is paralyzed from the neck UP. LOL
Vulcan or not, I may start refering to him as "Mr. Spook".

All we gotta do is see his blog to know how paralyzed he is. lol.

I'd say quadraplegic doesn't even begin to describe it.
