Stupidest Man On The Planet?

I was listening to the talk show chief of pain management today. I usually listen for about 5 or 10 minutes during my lunch time(about all I can usually handle anyway). I swear he's on the drugs again. He was totally off the rails today. Maybe he just sees the ship sinking and is angry about it. Regardless it was the most ignominious day I have ever heard from him, and that takes some effort. He was screaming " civil war, civil war". "The libs are so happy, that's what they wanted all the time. They just want Bush to be wrong." He went on and on about how happy the libs and the media and all the opponets of the war were. Then he just screamed "civil war, civil war".
It's been a long time since I have heard someone say something so disgusting. It would have been more civil if he would have said "go f**k yourself". First of all, nearly 60% of America opposes the war. If he truly feels that 60% of the population want mass death just to see Bush look bad then he needs far more than rehab. I believe one of the main reasons people hate war is because of the senseless deaths. How could a person with a national platform say something so blatantly, painfully idiotic? Oh, I forgot who we are talking about.
He also called Supreme court justice Souter a girl "attitudinally". I have a feeling even many of the Bush supporters are having a hard time taking him seriously these days. Rush, you're a bully and an honest to God butt head. Take your drugs and stay home, you are a disgrace to our country.

Then of course we have this.

Speaking of drugs and such, did you happen to see and hear Pres. Bush speaking about port security after leaving his plane a few days ago? His actions and speech seemed inebriated.

Well I can't claim to be innocent when it comes to any of that but I have conqered my addictions with the grace of God and one day at a time. I can tell you. It didn't happen in 30 days. I understand the confounding pricipal of addiction. The thing is it needs to be brought to attention to minimize the damage to oneself and others.

Oh, port security that's being sold out to Dubai?

What, some 21 ports now, to include 2 in LA, 3 or 4 in TX? I could go on and on?

This is America? I think?

I've said it from the beginning, and still say it now:

There will be no America left in 2008 - the neocons will have completely sold us out.

We're well on our way.

Dedanna. Exactly the point I made with this. We do sometimes think alike. I am most bothered by the realization that so much of our port management belongs to other countries. From the perspective of "what the hell is American any more!?"

Yes, those evil Republicans will destroy this country...

But wait a minute...I think the liberal poster boy had this to say...

"With an aim to create a partnership for bridging the gap of cultural understanding between America and the Arab world, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Scholars at the American University in Dubai.

"In partnership with the American University in Dubai and in the spirit of a strong relationship with HH Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, this program is a means to promote cultural understanding and further Dubai's achievements to promote multiculturalism and economic development."

The Dubai university is apparently very proud to have Mr. Clinton in their corner. The application for the Clinton scholarship available on the school's web site proclaims:

"The William Jefferson Clinton Scholars at the American University in Dubai seeks to further the goals of the Clinton Presidential Foundation to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence."

The school's website also features photos of President Clinton and Sheik Mohammed, taken when the two rubbed shoulders at the Fifth Commencement Exercises at the university.

Sheik Mohammed, who also serves as the UAE's Defense Minister, would undoubtedly be less than amused by Mrs. Clinton's recent comments suggesting that his country is an unreliable ally in the war on terror. Especially after he forked over $300,000 to her husband for a 40 minute speech a few years back.

Hey lame game:

The Donkey sees that you are fluent in Gibbering Moronese. Unfortunately, the Donkey is not. You generate more waffle than the waffle making machine in a waffle factory. You should offer your posting style to hospital operating theatres as a highly-effective alternative to unconsciousness-inducing medications. The Anti-Moron™ software on the donkey's PC went crazy when the Donkey started to read your post. You could type every thing you know on the subject on back of a microscopic postage stamp and still have room leftover for a shopping list. Anyway, who was talking to you or even taking you under consideration? As Abba Eban so aptly said: "His ignorance is encyclopedic."

I think I know your problem...you are not smart enough to debate the issues. Did you go to a liberal arts college? Did you spend your time taking classes about porn? Did you believe all your liberal teachers when they told you how evil this country was? Did it make you feel better to think that it is not your fault you were picked on your whole life? That you do not fit in?

Well, I try and come here and spark actual debate. it is obvious you do not want that here. Must not be anyone willing to defend their position, no one tolerant enough to hear a different point of view. How sad...the donkey never makes one point that has anthing to do with what anyone is saying.

The American university in Dubai.. What the hell does establishing a scholarship for students in an American university INSIDE Dubai have to do with United States security?? Where is any kind of logic in that??

This is not about having nothing to do with Arabs, it is about not being STUPID about what we have to do with Arabs who we KNOW have had ties with al Qaeda. But then, of course, the UAE gave a million dollars to a Bush's library. And George ALWAYS takes care of Bush family friends. Including members of the bin Laden family.

Having our port searches carried out by a company owned by a country with known ties to al Qaeda is what is the problem. Also, simply the fact that a CORPORATION is in charge, period, is the problem. BECAUSE, of course, corporations only care about profits, and will cut corners if they can save money doing it. What do THEY care about our security, other than, perhaps, that if they do a bad job they won't get the contract next time?

Promoting cultural interaction (as in schools)however, between countries and peoples is always a good idea. That is how civilization has always GROWN and expanded and CHANGED! How it can be seen as a negative is beyond me. EXCEPT, of course, by those who paint everything in black and white and brand all Arabs and all Muslims as the enemy.

I could be wrong, but there are probably AMERICAN students attending that college. It is, perhaps, even predominantly American for all I know -- for the children of Americans working in that country or some such. That is the case with many American universities on foreign soil.

Liberal poster boy... my dad is a liberal. He and a lot of others always thought Clinton was a Republican. Just like most other Democrats these days. Mainly because of NAFTA.

In case you have not noticed, the people on this blog don't like INCOMPETENT, lying, Republicans who sell out our futures for the sake of their corporate friends. We do not brand all with the same brush, OR think that because they are Republicans, they cannot possibly do anything right or have any ideas we might agree with.

But Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld have screwed up EVERYTHING they have done!! The insurgency was in "its last throes" how long ago? How many troops did Shenseki say they needed to go in?? How many people have told us now that they would not listen to the best intelligence, but made up their own because they wanted war?? How many warnings did they get about 9/11?? WHEN did Bush fly onto that carrier and say "mission accomplished?" He said he was going to take "some of the surplus" and give it to the people who paid the bills, and he gave almost all of it to the rich and now there are deficits forever. DOES ANYONE really believe oil companies enjoying obscene profits needed tax breaks and should not have to pay royalties??

This bunch has proven on a nearly daily basis that they have no concern for mankind. Their thinking is all about short term interests and profits. Too bad Clinton had not been a former CEO of a company and then spent his entire presidency concentrating on giving that company contracts. I will bet the right would have been SO tolerant of that!!

How can anyone STILL not see that??!!

The Game, from what I have read (although I don't read everything) has never said one good word about any Democrat or ANYONE who happens to disagree with what these proven dishonest incompetents in power have said and done. Clinton sure did not get this kind of a pass. I can't imagine him getting away with even ONE of the myriad failures this bunch has. AND, if he lied us into a war from which his family was profiting financially, OH MY GOD, the apoplexy!! Look at the apoplexy they had about something that didn't matter at all!!

It is interesting that Bush, Cheney, and even Gonzales, now, never say ANYTHING under oath. That way they cannot be charged for killing people, like Clinton was charged for lying about his sex life. I guess sex is more important. I know I would think so if it were MY kid who had served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan because he could not get out of the military!!

here is a calm, non-hysterical comment about the port deal:

Arab Company Accepts Broader Ports Review

Okay, if you take off your "I hate GWB" hat, there isn't anything to get mad about.
On the surface this sounds and looks terrible.
However, it seems to be working out fine.
If the government goes through the right channels, dots all the I's and crosses all the T's, then there is nothing to say.
If all these agencies and government groups look at the deal and say it is okay, the only way you could still be against it is:
1. you hate Arabs
2. you think this is a chance to hurt Bush.

That's it. The right thing will happen here. If the deal looks bad, it won't happen. End of story.

Is there anything the Donkey needs to know about you other than your a grungy social outcast? Maybe you wouldn't be such a Jerk-In-The-Box if you didn't lack even the dim flicker of sentience needed to qualify as a imbecile.

just what exactly is "my liberalism?" anyone who criticizes bush/cheney is necessarily a liberal??

a lot of republicans who write me quit being republicans because of bush/cheney!! they are the smart unbrainwashed ones.

nice of you to "grade" me. what did i say that you thought was "wrong," exactly, and WHY was it wrong? I would really be interested in knowing.

emotionalism?? is that like the apolplexy you all (unemotionale and reasonable clinton haters) had when clinton had sex with a secretary. a competent president was impeached for that and you would have thought HE had taken us into debt forever, lied us into war, ignored dozens of 9/11 warnings, etc.

i am sure i will be sorry i even replied.

bush selling out the ports is probably not the worst thing bush had done, but it would have roused tons of ire from the right if it had been done by a democratic president.

as i have said many times. i don't hate republicans. only incompetent, dishonest republicans.

Nice to know there's at least the thought out there that Cheney will take an "early retirement", isn't it lonna?

Frankly, the dewd right along with his neocon buddies should've been shot before the election came into existence, is what methinks.

Ok boys and girls, we're selling out. Period. There's no getting 'round it.

So, which side of the map are you on? Me? I'm on the north/northeast side.

Bye-bye, neocons! ;) Bye-bye, America! Good riddance -- I'll go work in Dubai, maybe I can make a lil' money there. :)

Game, I am no longer in the mood for calm, non hysterical, I think we are at the hysterical level of government now. I promise you are going to be seeing more and more of that righthated "emotion" over the next couple of years.
I know, that's why we dont(wont) win elections. You do it your way we'll do it ours. If we are wrong, all the better for you.
My debate on the ports issue is unclear cuz I don't know all the facts but it does distress me that our ports are sold out to the highest bidder(any). America for sale. More and more they have all the money and all the assets. What the hell is American anymore!?

Re: the stupidest man on the planet-is that Bu$h? (The Game may be a runner up. Ha!) It gives one hope to see that some of the GOP are willing to stand up to this yeehaw and his gang of greedy corporate warmongers on something. Yes, Americans (NOT Halliburton) should be in charge of our ports (plus much more), but especially we should not put Islamic oil rich nations in charge. After all, most of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia another oil rich Islamic nation that happened to be good buds with the Bu$h Family/friends. I don't mean to sound prejudiced against Islamics, but it just seems to be a really dumb idea in a long line of dumb ideas Bu$h has had. Personally, I suspect there is some kind of oil deal or corrupt financial hanky panky involving Halliburton. Anyway, I'm glad Dubai took Michael Jackson off our hands, but there are limits! LOL
Also, Game, give it up. I won't speak for myself, but Lonna, Donkey, Dedanna, and Ron are all leagues above you when it comes to talking about politics. And if Ron won't defend himself, I will, cuz the truth is that if Ron used any of your kind for a doormat, he'd have to disinfect his shoes. Hiss!
