Coffee Table

Please consider signing this petition to stop the preemptive attack on our constitution. I know that all the writing and calling and petitions and marches have done nothing. I have pretty much given up on that tack myself but we really need to do SOMETHING to save our constitution. Go here

Please comment on what is important to you.

OK, Ron, I signed it, but I still think we have no chance for impeachment against Bu$h & Cheney. They need to be tried for everything once they are out of office and then thrown into one of those secret prisons they send people to. Wish the 24% that still support Bu$h would wake up and see that all Bu$h's talk about democracy and freedom is nothing but talk. Personally, I don't care if they do check out my library records. I'm not reading anything on building bombs, but I sure have read a number of books by Ivins, Moore, and others who criticize Duhbya big time. If it is their objective to get anyone who is anti-Bu$h, it's likely they'll get me for my Chickenhawk sweatshirt LOL and the things I say about Bu$hco on this blog or the phone or in the privacy of my own home... Oh, and it turns out that the message boards on Yahoo are NOT up after all even tho, I posted on one after a debate. It was too good to be true when you consider that Murdoch bought Yahoo and HE sure doesn't want thousands of people like me posting anti-Bu$hCO info.
Anyone who hasn't seen "Syriana" should rent the DVD. Very good and very disturbing. Based on the book "See No Evil" by Robert Baer.

Before we can clean up America, we need to stop people like Dan Foley (police abuser "Do you know who I am? I will have your jobs!), Rod Adair (I support the death penalty for murder even though my brother was convicted of murder and he only spent 3 years in prison)and Nora Espinoza (I have a fake college degree from a degree mill and take direct orders from Adair). Ron, do your homework and start taking the locals on...

I can't understand why Foley, Adair, and Espinoza keep getting elected, and in the latter case, what is she, really, but a rightwing evangelical nutcase like I hear she is? Ellen Wedum, her opponent in the last election, is a highly educated and decent woman who worked unbelievably hard on her campaign, and who would have served her constituents well while Espinoza, as you said, apparently only answers to Adair, as does Candy Ezzell, another victor who shouldn't have won. Would you believe the latter went as far as to put her signs on people's lawns without asking? (I heard this from Dems in Hagerman while canvasing for Ezzell's opponent.)

Speaking of Repugnantcan slime-Bu$h is asking for another $48 Bil. for Iraq now that his partisan toadies* in The House have upheld his veto of S-Chip. Also, I have truly begun to believe that Limbaugh is a complete socio-path with absolutely no morals or consience after watching him make fun of
12 year old Graeme Frost's speech difficulties following his denial that he was attacking the Frost family for the child's statement re: Schip. What's next, Rush? Stealing candy from babies?
Also, saw Megavote today and that *$*$ Pearce* voted against overriding the veto!

Again, although I use to live in Roswell I don't now and here in Alamogordo we have the same trash, or even worse here. If you want to comment on what the people in Chaves cty are doing please be my guest. I would welcome it. I heard the espinoza commercials on the radio and couldn't believe that she was serious! Holy crap she was a wingnut of the first degree! And seemingly proud of it!&^% I heard Dan was thinking of running for Pearces' seat? Have you heard anything about that? That would be an "interesting" campaign.

I had to be out of town on a family emergency for a while but hope to post more soon.

Foley won't be able to run because of the amount of money it will take for the R's to win this PLUS he has the very serious charges of attacking the police to contend with...with his legendary temper, hopefully he is toast.
Someone needs to help Wedum with her campaign. Adair runs Espinosa's campaign and he always goes negative. Nora is a sitting duck, with her fake degree, etc. (Google her, do some research)
Also, Wedum is going to need some $$$ to attack Espinoza...the Dem's need to turn out the vote and the money for her.

$$$ for Wedum is easier said than done, as it seems that the GOP, apparently has mucho money to burn, here in Chvs. CO (hence the many huge billboards for all of their candidates.) I have been active enough in the local Party in the past to know that Dr. Wedum worked very very hard on her campaign, as did Pablo Martinez. No sooner did Candy Ezzell beat the incumbant in 2004, than she showed her true colors and who she really supports-the rich instead of the workers. The working class voters OUGHT to realize they are getting the shaft from the conservative Republicans and vote to get rid of them regardless of how many billboards the latter can afford and how much they get in campaign dollars Many of the Democrats who live in Ezzell's and Espinoza's districts don't vote, apparently, and that is not due to a lack of effort to get out the vote there. Also, Greg Palast said in his last book "Armed Madhouse" (?) that there was election fraud in Chaves Co. as well as NW NM. Personally, I think the biggest problem in Chaves CO. is the influence of Evangelical Christianity* which is quite predominate here (* Bush's core base I truly believe these people are being brainwashed into believing Duhbya is some kind of saint when just about everything he does is anti-Christian.) Probably the 2nd biggest problem is the macho cowboy redneck thing that celebrates mediocrity and ignorance, and doesn't Duhbya do a great job of playing to these yeehaws?

And Ron, re: your family emergency hope R & C are OK. Good luck.

Ron,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving early tomorrow morning (Thursday) for Grand Forks, ND. I'm transferring there for my company, and for friends. It's a transfer that I requested.

I'll be offline for a month or two until I'm more settled, but will try to catch up when I'm at work.

OMG it's been so long since we caught up that I guess I haven't told you. I've been working here: http://www.sei.it.com/ since early December '06. Great pay, great benefits. They're hiring for anyone interested in doing systems techsup for major chains around the world. They give 4 wks paid training, and opportunity for advancement -- I've already advanced. I'm not spamming here, but anyone interested, please apply online, and put in on there that Kimberly Garren referred you (there's a special place on there to put this in).

It will indeed be so nice to get away from the macho cowboy redneck thing for once. It's been way too long since I've been away from it. I've hated this region; no, loathed it from the day I walked into it, and I'm on a natural high knowing I'll be out of it.

And Ron, yes, re: family emergency. Do keep us posted, and I wish you all the best of luck.

Politics, eh, I say f* 'em all. I'm so burned out on their crapola it ain't funny. It's gonna take a mountain out of a molehill to get this country back on track anyway, Dubya's got us so f*ed up. So, *shrug* I'm to where I'm burned out, and don't much care what happens cuz what's gonna is gonna anyway. Let it be. Just spread yer own peace where you can. That alone makes a huge difference. Fighting within the system just brings more system, so to me, that's futile, too.

Take care.
