Stalinists In New Mexico

Here is a letter to the editor in the Alamogordo Daily News.

An ordinance is being considered by the Otero County Commission that would invade our privacy, if adopted. The ordinance, presented at the Sept. 20 meeting, would require anyone talking or writing about a World Heritage application to give a full report to the county commission and to the public of what they said. Anyone who was caught not reporting could be subject to a $300 fine and 90 days in jail.
The county commission should protect our right to privacy by rejecting this ordinance.

It references a proposal to make White Sands National Monument a UN World Heritage site just like....

Carlsbad Caverns National Park - New Mexico
Chaco Culture - New Mexico
Everglades National Park - Florida
Grand Canyon National Park - Arizona
Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Tennessee and North Carolina
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Hawaii
Independence Hall - Pennsylvania
Redwood National Park - California
Statue of Liberty - New Jersey
Pueblo de Taos - New Mexico
Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming and extends into Montana and Idaho
Yosemite National Park - California

Of course since the letters UN are included the wingnut radical right Republics(obviously opposed) are putting on the tinfoil hats and looking for the black helicopters. It requires a post of it's own to fully flesh out. Maybe later.

Right now the issue is why do they even imagine they can propose something that would fine you for speech. You and I both know this violates the first amendment. If this is true, I am about to go to war with the county commission. I will speak about it..alot to everyone listening. I will not report to the county commission. I encourage them to arrest me. We can have it out in court. Please inform everyone you know what these people are trying to do and how radical and unamerican these wingnuts have become. I am spreading this information as far and wide as possible. Thanks for your help and support.

Ron, lets see what we can organize in oppisition to these Stalinists or whatever they are. There has been a lot of opposition for the last decade or so to Heritage Sites because of the belief that it will be used to create a one world government to take away private property. The interesting thing is that they end up supporting Global Corporatists, WTO and NAFTA types who really are taking away public property and everyone else's private property. Whether they don't know, don't care or actually support such efforts is another question. You have one such organization right in Alamogordo at 1209 Michigan Ave.
- the Paragon Foundation. They are affiliated with Eco-Logic. Eco-Logic was one of the early opponents of Heritage Sites and other UN land use programs. Interestingly, they were able to afford to attend various UN functions worldwide. You would think they were just a grassroots organization with some money. Yet, when the WTO opposition came out in 1999 and 2000 they were strongly against those opposed to WTO proposals. Hmm? Can you say Front Operation?

Actually, I think that the Global Corporatists would use any political organization, group or person to further their agenda of owning and controlling anything they want. How else could regular Americans end up supporting organizations that support the globalization as proposed by WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, IMF, etc.? Remember that Anthony Sutton, conservative
scholar, documented many decades ago how what we would refer to as global corporatists funded and largely maintained both the former USSR and Nazi Germany. Why do you think they have so much dealing with "communist" China?

Probably many of the Paragon supporters are just suspicious of government in general and the UN in particular without realizing that they are supporting efforts by others that will do the very things they are concerned about. Some of the Otero Co Comms are close to Paragon Foundation. I really wonder if they have thought about their actions or are just down to an us against them mentality? Keep us posted.

Ron. This apparently had its start at the August Meeting of the Otero County Commissioners. It deals with a World Heritage Site Application for White Sands National Monument. The White Sands rep erroneously stated that the Otero Co Comms and Rep. Pearce supported the Heritage Site designation. Read the details Here
Scroll down to the bottom of Internet page 227 to about half way down page 241. It refers to Item 42. Then scroll down to page 420 to about half way down page 422 for the ordinance. I think the concern is in Section 1 #3. Again, these are the Internet pages not the document pages.

Sadly, it seems the Comm identifies
"America" and "country" as what is of, by and for the Military Industrial Complex only. Also, while Comm Moore got the World Bank connection, they seem to miss the role of global corporatism. I would point out that when a private entity has enough power to own your public resources it is Their Private Property to do with as they please. And you don't get to have "public meetings" to discuss about what to do with their private property. It is the supporters of privatization here and globally who are taking the public resources and private ones for their control and benefit. And they don't deny it. Watch some of the "money" programs during the weekdays on CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, etc. in addition to numerous books.

Like what?!!! Other than the fact that White Sands is associated in my mind with The Trinity Site which makes it seem somewhat infamous to me unlike Yosemite, the Carlsbad Caverns, and other BEAUTIFUL places in the U.S. I don't get this about Heritage Sites. Is this some kind of rightwing anti-environment tactic to relabel National and State Parks to the effect that they no longer belong to American citizens? The purpose of national/state parks is to preserve beautiful sections of land in its natural state for present and future generations. Isn't it bad enough that the U.S. government owns huge amounts of open land in this country which it leases out to ranchers and timber companies, not to mention corporations, esp. the energy industries? Possibly, these rightwingers want our new fascist* regime (*in MY opinion) to totally control all the open land in the country, all the forests, all the wet lands, etc. including, of course, ANWR and anywhere else the frig*** oil companies want to drill without interference from people who care more about wild animals than money. Doesn't surprise me that Pearce has something to do with this-an oil man who supports Bush in almost everything. And if they want to shut people up, Ron, they are up to something dirty, you can bet on it.
Also, have seen that Yahoo finally has its new message boards for articles.

Larry, have read it. I have been following this closely. I plan to challenge them on their vote when they have an open meeting. Pearce wasn't opposed but said he would reconsider if Otero county didn't want it. 3 people on the county commission doing whatever they want because no one is paying attention.

DC- no this is not what it is. It is to get it on a list of important places in the world and provide financial assistance to maintain it. Sovereignty is maintained. The wingnuts on the council want to turn it down because the letters UN scare them. Is there anything these people don't fear? I've never seen such a bunch of chest puffing cowards in my life.

U.N. scares them? They are really wingnutty in that case. However, I would not put it past their kind to find a way to take the parks, refuges, etc. away from the people/wildlife and give them to the corporations. Got an email from a wildlife PAC today re: protecting Alaskan wolves wanting me to send a message to my Representative-the anti-environment Pearce who thank God will have an opponent again. Pearce doesn't care about MX wolves right here in NM, so I know he won't want to protect Alaskan ones. :-(

Yes, they the have been fooled into the misdirection that the UN is the threat of one world government while the corporations create it right under their noses.

The U.N. is the threat of one world government while PNAC is not?
'Course they are not talking about PNAC in the UNliberal media are they? And if we are going to talk about secret organizations, one might mention The Knights Templar, The Masons, etc. as there are numerous conspiracy theories about these folks controlling world finance, world events and policies, etc. Besides, PNAC is surely somehow involved, with the help of Bush's good friends, the Saudis, in the implosion of the WTC, and that news has been getting out more and more. My friend L says that it has mentioned on "Washington Journal" by numerous callers over the last several months. How nice it would be it that was proven and Dicky, Donny, Dubya, and Wolfie were all tried as war criminals and traitors and the sooner the better.

Excellent point! And I plan to use it. Thanks ds..er dc:-)!

When I can clearly see that the Global corporations are getting their hands around the entire worlds economy it's not hard to see who is forming the one world government.

I kinda figured that you knew who DC is, Ron, so what's the point in making sure I know you know? Seems to me that you asked me to come back to your blog. You're not regretting it now, are you? :-)
I wish Dedanna, Donkey, Lonna,
The Maniacs*, etc. would come back, too. Not too sure about
The Game, tho. LOL
*They aren't into blogging ANYWHERE these days, so don't take it personally. :-)
Peace!

Ron and Larry: I'm one of the key organizers against the UN designation of White Sands Missile Range as a World Heritage Site.
You really need to do your homework. Corporations are seeking to control the US economy, labor pool and resources. The UN prescribes to NGOs and 'pioneer investors'. You're part of the problem, not the solution, if you don't understand the dynamics of the UN and pioneer investors.
Hope to see you at the next Otero County Commission meeting. I'd like to see how you plan to be arrested. Also...you took Alan Stenger's bait, when you took verbatum his opinion piece to the editor. Do your homework pal.

Off your meds....
And I suppose YOU voted for Bush/Cheney and Pearce in which case you are off your rocker.
Having been a fan of Ron's (blog/talk show) for some time, I have seen over and over that he does do his homework and is usually right and is better informed than many people.
Personally, I don't see how the U.N. of all things rates as a secret organization trying to control the world economy. I would look at the European Union, among other things, re: that not the U.N.
Why don't you visit the PNAC site (Project for the New American Century) and read the mission statement signed by Cheney, among other people, if you want to learn more about an organization that is trying to dominate the world economy, starting with the Middle East which is why, Sir or Ma'am, that we are in Iraq since there were no WMDs and no connection between Saddam Hussein and 9/11 but you Bushies refuse to see the truth, don't you?
Keep up the good work, Ron! :-)

or Ma'am-sorry about that-accidental :-(
You might also look up a site called "Confronting the Evidence: A Call to Reopen the 9/11 Investigation" and look up a DVD called "Loose Change". There are a lot of unanswered questions re: what happened on 9/11 and things are apparently not as they seem(ed)

Glad you are here dc. Everybody with a point is welcome...Here was my response to mr forum in a personal email:

Mr. otrf:
Actually I did do my homework. Hes actually noting something that refers to the documents and official meetings. Which is reasonable. ...Hows that. I have to admit to being quite touchy about our diminishment of liberty. It is all falling away so fast. Stuff I never believed would happen is happening.
Actually in some respect we agree. I totally agree that the Corporations are the one world government. Here's my deal with the world heritage site and the UN. ...People I know have told me that the trilateral commission was the one world government. I've also been told it was the Masons or the Illuminati and the bohemian grovers and on and on and on. Frankly I don't believe that the Corporations need any of those groups. It's just flat out straight faced, import cheap labor, build with cheap labor overseas, move to Dubai and on and on do it. Why do they need the UN?... Here's the deal. Show me an official document of agreement that is proposed for this site. If you can convince me there is something in there that I should be concerned about then OK. Just blowing conspiracy smoke without some intelligent way to resolve this is just wanting to stir the pot. By the way, that is why I would love to be arrested for exhibiting free speech. We could resolve that issue in a court of law and I would take my chances.

I must admit to being a rather snarky guy but I can deal with things like an adult if the other person is willing. It, sadly in the UNITED states, is all to rare these days.
