The Power Of Nightmares

Here's something that all should know about the radical right. They don't like liberty and they don't believe that individuality is a good thing for our society. Now many on the right may argue this. Unfortunately the longer they argue it instead of standing for what they REALLY believe in, the closer we get to the neocon goal.

..............The wisest course would have been for President Bush to use his nuclear weapons to slaughter Iraqis until they complied with his demands, or until they were all dead. Then there would be little risk or expense and no American army would be left exposed. But if he did this, his cowardly electorate would have instantly ended his term of office, if not his freedom or his life...... .....Caesar pacified Gaul by mass slaughter; he then used his successful army to crush all political opposition at home and establish himself as permanent ruler of ancient Rome. This brilliant action not only ended the personal threat to Caesar, but ended the civil chaos that was threatening anarchy in ancient Rome – thus marking the start of the ancient Roman Empire that gave peace and prosperity to the known world. If President Bush copied Julius Caesar by ordering his army to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate the country with Americans, he would achieve immediate results: popularity with his military; enrichment of America by converting an Arabian Iraq into an American Iraq (therefore turning it from a liability to an asset); and boost American prestiege while terrifying American enemies......... .......President Bush can fail in his duty to himself, his country, and his God, by becoming “ex-president” Bush or he can become “President-for-Life” Bush: the conqueror of Iraq, who brings sense to the Congress and sanity to the Supreme Court. Then who would be able to stop Bush from emulating Augustus Caesar and becoming ruler of the world? For only an America united under one ruler has the power to save humanity from the threat of a new Dark Age wrought by terrorists armed with nuclear weapons.

There you have it.

I encourage you to use the link to read the whole story. Also, those in comments on Digbys page have provided some more research and interesting information on this guy and his associates. Check them out too.

When you have time for viewing here is an interesting documentary from the BBC that kind of puts it all in perspective. I have studied this and I know 75% of this to be true through my own research. Because of this I have reason to believe the rest of it is largely accurate. I highly reccomend it. It is great for filling in the blanks. There are three segments. They are each an hour. The first is the must see. The other two are good but I would choose the 3rd over the 2nd if your time is limited. See it, research it, believe it. Fear no more.

Segment One

Segment Two

Segment Three

Would be helpful to know about all the agendas being played out. Keeping the people divided and providing kool-aid to the gullible seem part of it. While intimidating others about issues, they actually have no regard for family values, life or personal responsibility. Same goes for America and families. These issues are fodder for propaganda to keep the lessers in line. Hopefully, keeping sanity and reason will keep such perversion from ruining all that is good in America.

Larry,
So many con games going on with these guys. After all this time you would think most people with an IQ over 100 might have figured out how they play though.

Haven't heard about it but will check it out later. I am out of town right now but ready to head back tommorrow. Thanks.

Ron. Have you seen the current ad being run by the New Mexico State Police for recruits. This seems like a military ad and I don't think it speaks well about what the State Police thinks is important in dealing with the citizens of New Mexico. Albuquerque PD recently ran ads which presented a more balanced view. I have already contacted the Governor's Office about this. Watch the ad and see what you think. It is on many channels.

Larry, I almost never watch anything on the networks. News channels(I gave up on Fox a while back) and the documentary type channels like History channel or National Geographic or the like...and Comedy Central..that's pretty much it for me. Sounds like a scary ad though. Probably trying to appeal to the chickenhawks who love war but are afraid to put their life on the line in the military.

That's how they always do them, though, and no one's complained before. Hell, I used to dub them off for radio airplay.
