Tired Of Bush

I feel your pain guys! Once all the lame arguements have been dispelled you would think they would come up with something new...Not this bunch. This is why they will bite it in 06.

Bush:The terrorists have a strategic goal. They want us to leave Iraq before our work is done. They want to shake the will of the civilized world. In the past, the terrorists have cited the examples of Beirut and Somalia, claiming that if you inflict harm on Americans, we will run from a challenge. In this, they are mistaken.

Digby: It's one of their more ridiculous beliefs and yet it is the foundation of neocon thinking about how to deal with terrorism. They honestly think that if we stay in Iraq that we will prove to the terrorists that we are tough ... and then they will not be able to attack us anymore. As unbelievable as it is, this simple-minded psychological diagnosis of the problem is one of the main reasons why we are stuck in this quagmire.

Everyday I am more amazed that they keep trying to cram this barnyard manure down our throats. Everyday I am even more amazed at the US citizens that are so uncurious that they continue to believe.

Yep guys, I'm getting tired of it too.

Ron;

To be fair to the Naval Academy midshipmen sleeping, it was before the speech. In the military Acadamies, you catch a nap when you can, because the work load is far greater than a regular college. These midshipmen will probably be punished for having their picture taken while sleeping.

Bush seems to be making more speaches to the military. Regular crowds can not be ordered to applaud on cue.

As for finishing a job, what was the job in Iraq? What is the job now? The USA has installed an Islamic government that is friendly with Iran. How is is this worth one American's life? Let Freedom reign, what does that mean exactly?

I agree with Donkey. Bush HAS to make speeches to the military because they have to cheer and applaud for his lame ideas and recycled speeches. He could just do his usual thing, tho, which is to ONLY give speeches to pre-screened audiences full of die-hard Bush supporters. If Bush hadn't been so protected from reality, he might've been able to see what the majority of American people really think of him. Maybe he's starting to wake up-God Bless Cindy Sheehan for going to Crawford, TX! I can almost feel sorry for Dumbya cuz he's basically Dick Cheney's puppet and if Cheney can get away with letting Bush take the fall, he will. Personally, I am tired of hearing PRESIDENT Bush. He wasn't really elected EITHER time because Kerry and Gore got the popular vote not him-Bush's NOT the President!!! He's an incompetent liar and a cheater who took the oath of office twice when he didn't deserve to. Once again, why does Lame Game support liars and cheaters?

Question for everyone here; I'd like to see how good you are at your rapid facts:

Is it the NFL or is it the NBA?

It Must Be The NBA???

36 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 currently are defendants in lawsuits. and

84 have been arrested for drunk driving
just in the last year...

The question is: Can you guess which organization this is?

Neither. The answer is Texas politicians.
Seriously, I guess,it's the NBA. I wouldn't know, but since
Kobe Bryant and so many other basketball players seem to get into trouble...but on the other hand so do football players. I don't much care. I hate football (except that as a former Wisconsinite, I am required to support the Green Bay Packers for life-right, Game?) and I'm not too crazy about other competetive sports, except gymnastics and skating.

donkey, true but they portray my feelings very well.
Yep, Bush is trying to meld the military to his hip. Those are real Americans. They are working for all of us. I wonder why he won't do the same.

Your post looks like some bad information floating around the internet in 1999. The numbers are almost the same. People were writing this about the 1998 congress. It was bullshit then and still is now.

Why you would waste time on bunch of exagerations, while so much real crimes are going on, is beyound the Donkey's understanding.

Hearing Bush try to prop up this war, irritates the Donkey, not puts him to sleep.
