Reading Room

I'm back. Thanks for your patience. Iraqistan is.....well, sorry it's on double super secret background. Lots of catching up to do so here we go.

The Liberal Media can't get anything right.

Ok just quit...just quit asking how it could get any worse. They always seem to figure out a way.

Oh by the way, that new struggle against violent extremism, you know that more than just a military thing, oops that sounds to much like the Kerry plan. It's back to kill'em all and let God sort'm out.

It's ok good Iraqi democracy seekers. "Conservative" Americans will be there to send you money till you get this thing figured out.

Damn, if we are going to invade a country and set up a functioning democracy....well, I don't know about that, but these guys are neighbors and if they could get their act together it would be notably beneficial for us.

I've actually been a pretty ardent border security supporter. I don't think having lots of illegal low wage workers coming in here is an ultimately good thing for America or it's workers. I love reading things like this though because it makes me aware of the possible twists and turns of it all.

MMMM, more quality nominees.

whether this is true or not it certainly will be if we continue to sit on our ass. It's time to do something when we have to kill in the name of oil. Lets move along folks. It's time for bigger and better things.

Need more "facts". Look at the world around you take your nose out of your book of "facts" and draw a conclusion that coordinates those facts with the real world. Ok, if you insist, here's some more.

Oh no, now what's going on here?

OK, some good news. Here's just one example of the multitude of things we can almost all get behind. It's time to take America forward with positive and not destructive accomplishments.

Who's the "we" that kills in the name of Oil. I want to know who to aim my ire and scorn at.

Perhaps it's all of us in our SUV's driving two hours to and from work everyday. Nah. That would be preposterous.

You know good and well who "we" are Joe. What are you talking about?
You and me and all who are represented by our particular organizational body known as the government.Remember,it's a democracy.
To fix the problem lets come up with a way to have energy without having to kill for it.
To deny that it is happening or at the very least WILL happen sooner more than later is just arguing some lame point to be conservative joe is the part that's getting tired, should you really CARE at all.

I am just appalled sometimes by the crap I hear in relation to Oil and energy. It is a general lack of responsibiliy on everyone's part and I am not excluded.

My point was that the government isn't killing for Oil, free enterprise is. We demand it from companies and as a result they will kill for the profits. I don't think the killing for Oil is a political issue.

What I do think is a political issue are the very real solutions to gas prices, oil production, and oil dependency reduction. You have spurned me to write my own piece about it...
