Links..Gotta have'em

A great place to start studying environmental issues.

Some really cool pictures of real stuff.

Its Free! And legal!....wow could you misread that one!

My most beloved freebie. Slimbrowser . As quite a tester I have tried most browsers and this one wins far and away. Tabbed browsing real big for me . I often need to have more than one or two things open at a time. Many other great little pluses that you get too. Searchbar is great. I can't work without it. It must be on every computer I use. Yes, I'd be happy to do your commercial. It does run on IE engine.

By Golly there is good news out there!

Someones interpretation of the truth.

I'll put this here so people will read it...from my blog today:

Two stories very related

Bush nominee gave money to Gore, democrats
Here is the first of two Bush stories where he seems to make bad decisions in his quest to please the liberal media. Why can't he figure out that you can not please them if you are a conservative?

If he messes up this nomination, I will consider him a failure as a President. Republicans have made 6 or 7 of the 9 nominations to the Supreme Court, yet they do not have a clear majority. I simply hate how scared Republicans are of the MSM. The media knows it, and it makes Republicans impotent.

Story number two:
Govs to Bush: Relief our job
Bush over-reacts to media pressure here by stating that he wants the federal government to lead relief efforts in catastrophic natural disasters.

36 of the 38 Governors do not agree, and they shouldn't.
This shows that most competent Governors can handle their job, and that the very very very very incompetent Gov. Blanko failed miserably.
The media focused on Bush, so most people now blame Bush. This story shows that the media should have focused on dumb (mayor) and dumber (governor).

I thought Bush had some Reagan DNA in him, seems like he does not.

After working for 20 years to get to this point, to elect a president and a Republican Senate, Republican House to change the direction of this court, to avoid the liberals being able to institutionalize their beliefs in the court, taking it out of the arena of ideas and away from the opportunity to defeat it in Congress, has disappointed some of them, that they feel we could win the fight, and that we could win the fight handily and it would be a nail in the coffin of the left, and we're still now having to wait, as you say, ten years to find out -- or a number of years -- that this was a good choice. Everybody's prayers are with the president on this, but there has to be some knowledge on your part that there's some disappointment out there that there's not somebody that could be immediately rallied around, and we've got people saying that they're depressed, and they're thinking that this is a decision that has let them down and they're, frankly, a little worn out having to appease the left on all of these choices.

I think GWB has betrayed his base for the last time. Instead of picking a strong, sound conservative for the Supreme Court, GWB picks nobody Harriet Miers.

Why doesn't Bush get some balls and pick someone that would please the people who elected him President twice?

We already have to tolerate his spend, spend, spend mentality.

Conservatives are now going to turn on him...they will look for a true conservative to vote for in 2008. If the Republicans nominate Rudi or McCain, there will be a third party "Perrot" type guy that will guarantee a win for the Democrats. I am very sure about this.

We have no one to stand up for us anymore....no one to represent us....we are the majority, yet the fact that the Dems and the MSM fight a better fight, we have to sit here and take it.

We made Republicans the majority in the House and Senate. Republicans hold all the power and give it up freely. They should be ashamed of themselves.

STOP BEING SCARED AND STAND UP FOR YOUR BASE!!!!!

The Donkey can not believe how quickly the game dropped Bush. Who will be the game's hero now? There is something that reminds the Donkey of rats jumping from a sinking ship.

The donkey changed one word in this quote. Guess who said it.

The "liberal media" is why people say they get their news from talk radio, 90% of which is not only right wing, but extreme right wing.

The "lm" is why people don't know who Gannon/Guckert is or

what the Downing Street memo is.

or about the Conyer's hearings.

that Cindy Sheehan was NOT the mother who did not raise her son.

or that there were 100 to 300,000 people marching against the war. the couple hundred who supported it got as much coverage, and the Teir Schaivo nonsense got infinitely more.

OR that there were millions of people marching against the war before it ever happened. Anti-war people got no coverage before the war.

The "lm" is why 70% of the people believed Hussein was directly involved in 9/11.

Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter say there is a liberal media, and against all evidence to the contrary, those who don't think for themselves believe it.

It is heartening that the game does not like Bush's pick for Supreme Court. Maybe that means she won't be quite so bad. All I have read about her is that she helped cover up his National Guard absences and said he was the "smartest man" she had ever met. AND, of course, she was never a judge.

"bad decisions in his quest to please the liberal media."

what decision has he made that was a GOOD decision?? most of which had nothing to do with pleasing anyone but his rich friends and family and his corporate campaign contributors.

under Eisenhower the richest among us were taxed at 90% and corporations at 52%. Ike did not believe in "preventive" war.
as was said in the "new republicans" post, everything he has done is to disguise the huge transfer of money to the rich, which is what his administration is all about.

To The Game:
What do you mean by Conservative?
Do you mean like a TRADITIONAL Conservative (they oppose change) or a Reactionary (they want to turn the calender/clock back to "the good old days" which weren't so great for a lot of people).
I call myself a moderate Liberal. I have some conservative views, but hope I am a Liberal in the dictionary sense of the word. Liberal doesn't mean radical and you can have radicals on either end-left or right.
Do you consider yourself broadminded, generous, in favor of progress, reforms, and the protection of civil liberties. If you are, then you are a LIBERAL!!!
I, too, would like to see abortion more restricted, although I am pro-choice. I, too, want the atheists to shut their mouths and stop taking their cases to The Supreme Court. I have no problem with the word God in "The Pledge of Allegiance', seeing The Ten Commandments in courtrooms, and I like seeing nativity creches and Stars of David during the holidays. However, I don't want 60 some years of social progress reversed, either.
Tell us your views and elaborate on them so we can understand you better instead of spouting rightwing dogma, OK?

Why is the game stealing words from Limbaugh? Stealing is bad. Did not the game learn this in college? What college did he go to? The game has already shown he did not major in English.

Re: conservatives pleasing Liberals, once again you are confusing all Liberals with the radical far left that scares even us. You are also confusing traditional conservatives with neo-cons/corporate globalists. If you can not grasp the true meaning of Liberal and the fact that Liberals can have so called conservative views you will never understand that Liberals can support conservatives on some issues.
Tom Delay. Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, etc. do not count as traditional conservatives. They are liars and crooks and it has been proven over and over. Why do you continue to support the Ameri-fascists? Help take your party back from them and hopefully the country will become UNITED again.

I applaud your efforts at getting your party back to ground game. I'm not sure I'd agree your thoughts would match with the republican party I remember.

In my opinion this is not a pacifiy the left move by any streach. I still have no idea how your reality finds some overall wacky liberal media out there. I find little more than anecdotes.

We have no one to stand up for us anymore....no one to represent us

I feel the same way my friend. Let's do our best to remove the power of the corporate interests from both parties and return it to the people where it rightly belongs.
