America Haters
For some reason the Muslims don't seem to like being pushed around.
The United States should emphasize its development aid to Muslim countries rather than try to persuade Muslims to support U.S. policies in Iraq or in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to the Council on Foreign Relations report. ...............When asked what they wanted from the United States, focus group members said respect and aid to develop as their countries choose.
Gee ya think?!

The Donkey sees no reason Americans are hated. Read this blog, from an Iraqi who knows more about about the Newsweek article than most of Roswell.

The donkey should read "The Ugly American". If the donkey doesn't understand why America is hated around the world perhaps the donkey is really an elephant (GOP). Smug sanctimonious bullying hegemony and exploitation of 3rd World nations is why we are hated around the world. I just hope that these poor oppressed peoples in 3rd World nations understand that many Americans are appalled by what our government/corporations are doing or we may all, innocent or guilty, end up paying the price for the crimes of PNAC, etc.
Unfortunately, however, not enough Americans are appalled enough to put the PNAC out of business...
Come 2008, if we even see an election, we'll see the Americans once again "dumb-ified", "Bush-whacked", etc., unfortunately, falling for the rhetoric once again. Just watch.
Eh, Americans get what they deserve for it...
And society continues to degrade because of it...
