King, Pearce, Two peas in..... Nuts In A Shell
Representative Steven King represents a district in my home state of Iowa. He reminds me much of my elected representative(not for long) Steven Pearce. These are the cult people of the Republican party.
I'm all for discussion and ideas but these have been done to death. If they can't see the error of their ways by now they have no place in intelligent discussion that will guide the course of our nation. I am so tired of these people I could puke. The disgusting, total baseless rhetoric they put out have made me so angry at them that I fear and despise them more than the actual enemy. Actually I don't fear them, I fear their success. That which they have done with their success to my country over the past 25 or 30 years. They have done far more damage to this country than any enemy has. Let's take a look at the mind numbing stupidity.
King(might as well be Pearce):"I don't want to disparage anyone because of their race, their ethnicity, their name - whatever their religion their father might have been," he said. What does it look like to the world of Islam?"
Don't want to disparage anyone but I will anyway. Tell me Steve, what does it look like to elect Obama in the world of Islam? Have you asked them? Do you know? Are you making assumptions based on your world view or theirs?
"I'll just say this: When you think about the option of a Barack Obama potentially getting elected President of the United States -- I mean, what does this look like to the rest of the world?
I suggest you ask them and not other US citizens if you want an accurate answer. I am sure you haven't or you would be able to relate the experience to your answer. It looks to me from what I have observed in news stories and blog comments that the rest of the world would see us as open minded and able to elect the person best suited to do what needs to be done instead of voting on the fear mongering bullshit that we have voted on before. In other words it says to the rest of the world we have seen the light.
He continued: "I will tell you that, if he is elected president, then the radical Islamists, the al-Qaida, the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11 because they will declare victory in this War on Terror."
Well at least they aren't shooting people or chopping heads off anymore huh? They are happy dancing terrorists? What could be better? Seriously...Iraq is not the exclusive war on terror(whatever wot is). Victory for them is when we elect the confessed, declared Christian Obama? What have they won that got them so excited? They have won nothing. There is no end to terror. We still have it every week in our streets, be it a shooting at a bus stop, a school or university or just on the streets,a letter bomb from Ted Kazinski or Tim McVeighs' hate for our government. Iraq is not really part of the war on terror. When will these people get it through their head!!!!
King thinks radical Islamists will say the United States has capitulated because the Obama administration would be pulling troops out of any conflict associated with al-Qaida.
Has Obama said this. No, to the contrary he has said the opposite. He has said we will focus on Al Qaida instead of the Shite-Sunni conflict(we enhanced) in Iraq. So why would King say this? Why would Islamists think this when Obama has said nothing of the sort? This is projection to the ridiculous degree.-Let me note that I voted for Edwards even though he had already suspended his campaign. I am not defending Obama, just pointing out the radical right stupidity.
Additionally, his middle name (Hussein) does matter," King said. "It matters because they read a meaning into that in the rest of the world. That has a special meaning to them. They will be dancing in the streets because of his middle name.
Can you show me where they read a meaning in that in the rest of the world cuz I haven't seen it. If they elected a Muslim with a Christian name in Iran would that tell you anything here in the US? It wouldn't to me. Why do you have such a problem with people in other parts of the world dancing? What does that do? Let them dance for Gods sake.
They will be dancing in the streets because of who his father was and because of his posture that says: Pull out of the Middle East and pull out of this conflict."
Well Steve, at least you are getting closer here. Terrorism is caused because we use our military to take over their countries and resources and often manipulate their governments is exactly why they hate us. See here for one example. We are taking their freedom to choose and survive in the way they best see fit. Pulling out and leaving them alone would make them very happy. And why not. We would feel the same if we were being occupied and manipulated by them.
There is more from the Kingster. You can read it here.
The fact that these people have no idea what causes terrorism confirms they have no idea how to fix it. Their mind numbing stupidity that runs on fear and guilt is no way to run a country that is so key to the planet as a whole. They must be defeated. Please, any conservative that reads this, tell me where I am wrong. I would like to hear it. Otherwise, bite me and get back to cowering under your bed in fear of a bunch of nutty radicals that have no organized Army, Navy, Air force, funding etc . Blowing up the world because of your fear of a few is no way to go. I am ashamed of your fear, your mongering, and am tired of you being the face of my country.

Ron, I hope this does not double post. Speaking of Pearce and King reminds me of another King involved with Pearce. Shortly after moving to Roswell in 2004 I noticed Pearce campaign signs in his race against Gary King which stated he was from here, he thinks like us and he is one of us, implying that Gary King was none of these. Apparently, Gary King was and is approved of my most of the rest of New Mexico as he was elected State Attorney General in 2006. To state that someone can be "one of us" only if they are from "here" and "think like us" is cliqish and a bit cult-like. I thought this would not go over too well, but no, this was one of the introductions into the predominate culture of SENM. BTW in the Republican Primary to replace Pearce, a mailing has been sent out by the Dunn campaign accusing Tinsley of being a "Santa Fe Liberal". Even in the rough and tumble world of politics I don't think this would get much traction, but then again this is SENM.
"my most" should be "by most".
