A Real American
I would love to meet this man personally and thank him for standing up for MY values. He speaks for me and I will follow him to the last mile if he decides to run for President. A better patriot in Washington is not to be found. Video here.

I'm writing in anyone who doesn't mention or use the Iraqi war or terrorism as a campaign point (issue).
I'm writing in anyone who has the balls to inherit the sack of shit that GWB leaves them, and do their very best to undo it. ALL of it.
I'm writing in anyone who dooesn't want to run up the federal deficit any more.
I'm writing in anyone who wants to take party line and shove it, and who is a member of no party.
I'm writing in anyone who isn't and hasn't been raised rich and who isn't padded with this country's money.
I'm writing in anyone who has the power to tell the current congress and senate where to blow 'cause they're stupid and harming this country.
I'm writing in anyone who will hunt GWB down when he finally does get out of office, and run him up a flagpole by his you-know-whats, then throw him in prison and throw away the key.
I'll write in anyone who doesn't lie to the people of the U.S., and who doesn't have the Bilderburg mentality of dumbing us all down.
Yes, I'm listening to your video Ron. I'm just not sure that even Feingold would honestly do it, and I'm not sure there isn't another agenda in his mind in wanting to run. There has been in every other Dem's candidate so far.
I don't want a Dem or Repug.
We never know what they will do once they get in office. I thought GWB would be an acceptable if not good president when he was first elected in 2000. Writing in carries the same risks. I believe Russ because of his record. He has been there for the American people from the start. I would trust him farther than anyone else at this point.
To add to what I said above, I will write in anyone who is pro-american people, i.e.:
1. Make health care honestly affordable, and the best it can be in care. I'm all for nationalized health care. In lieu of that, I'm all for someone who will kick the pharmaceutical corporations in the ass, and make them reduce their prices by at least 200%, and still leave them enough to keep running. Price freeze would do it, at a certain level. This includes for doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, all of the medical community.
2. Demand that all employers, to include corporations, pay employees a livable wage plus some (based on current cost of living in their area), and pay them what they're worth.
3. Demand that we run regular inspections on all companies/employers to see if they are hiring and working illegal immigrants -- demand a check similar to, but not all inclusive, of the process we go through to verify that employees are legal to work in the U.S. for child support; send in their names to the I.N.S. as soon as they are hired, and then we have inspectors spot-check to see if anyone else is working there. If so, busted.
At the same time, I propose that we become smart enough once again to keep industry going enough to support our working people, so that there are decent-paying jobs for everyone.
4. Raise the standards ten-fold for education.
5. Who will demand that parents now teach their kids not to play in the streets, instead of in the streets.
6. Who will demand high, stringent standards for law enforcement, and who will demand that no police department be left behind at the same time. Who will demand at the same time that criminals will be left behind, in jail.
7. Who will propose as Clinton did to get rid of as much as possible of the federal deficit, even if we have to beg the public to help.
8. Who will demand that we keep our noses out of other countries' business. Period.
9. Who will demand that U.S. scientists become educated, and brainy enough to find another method of fuel. Oil is disgusting to even use right now. After what the U.S. has done to get it, I think about the people who have died so I could fill up my car with gas, I get major sick.
10. Who will demand that this "throw-away" society go away -- forget the plastics that we use daily, forget the other "throw-away" stuff that we can do without on an on-going basis. Shut 'em down.
11. Who will make sure that the elderly are cared for always, and who will relax on the all-too-stringent rip-off (because they don't want to pay it to those honestly in need, but to those who are out just to rip off the gov't) standards for one to receive SSDI, but yet who will make absolute sure that anyone who is not eligible doesn't receive it.
12. Who will drastically reduce the welfare population, yet make sure that those who are in absolute dire need and who would only need it temporarily, get it. Three months max. Maybe six, depending on if they've been really trying during that time to get on their feet or not.
13. Who will demand that we have resources to hunt down and send illegal immigrants home (just like we used to do), or pay up to stay, just like those in other countries.
14. :-p~~~~ I lost my train of thought. Oh well.
Oh, the other one --
NO MORE OUTSOURCING JOBS.
Great post dedanna! And don't forget fair elections and living by the U.S. Constitution.
Oh, now, we're dreaming.
Just tell me if you think that Feingold would be willing to do it all, and if you think any of it would actually happen with him.
He talks a nice game, but I don't wanna play if he's cheating.
Those are demands, y'know.
I'll hold the white house for ransom, and the next prez won't get to move in until he agrees to all of those demands.
We don't demand, we don't get what we want from these jerks.
If you will notice Ron, I did ask for changes to the constitution.
Changes to the Bill of Rights include making it flat-ass illegal to do anything to the original Bill of Rights. Period.
Make it illegal for anyone, from the people like you 'n me, all the way up to the Bilderburgs to do anything that violates them.
The prez, congress, all those jack-asses, people, are immediately impeached and/or jailed for violating them.
Whoops, there goes the whole government.
I don't care.
"Just tell me if you think that Feingold would be willing to do it all, and if you think any of it would actually happen with him."
I can't tell you that dedanna.
I can tell you he was the only senator to vote against the so called patriot act. Voted against the war. Stood up to censure the President on the spying on Americans deal. He gives his pay raise to the treasury every year. He's a stand up guy and even if he isn't perfect he is a lot closer than anybody I can find.
Guess we'll see what happens as time goes on, eh?
Sorry, I'm extremely mistrustful of politicians these days -- done a lot of dreaming, and have watched all those dreams go down the drain for this country.
