Here is another campaign point. Look at your recent New Mexico electric bill if you are in an urban area.Call someone you know in Texas Urban areas and compare bills. The "free market" Texas bills are easily 2 to 3 times higher. But as Texas is the breeding ground for the Bushes, Cheneys, DeLays, Lays, Enrons, etc. of the nation it should not be surprising.
Ron, you seemed to indicate in an earlier posting that you were leaving Roswell, or was that an incorrect inference?
The Democrats could have innoculated against this when the Republicans stole the 2000 election, but they didn't. Had they been screaming bloody murder for six solid years about Republican vote fraud, it would be much more difficult for the GOP to suddenly glom onto this issue. Instead, it was a mere underground drumbeat that was heard, but only in the vaguest way. Now the CW about stolen elections is going to be turned on us --- and we will be on the defensive fighting both the charge of electoral fraud and being soft on criminal Mexicans because we need illegal aliens to stuff the ballot boxes for us.
The bolded text has been my point all along from day one -- the rest definitely is still one that I try to make with people.
This is why I call the Dem party weak, weak, weak...
New party time. One that's willing to stand up and fight! Just like I said in the beginning...
If we allow the Republicans to define this next election as they usually do, it will be about immigration and voter fraud.
No, no, NO!!!
It will be all about how "free" this country is if we ra-ra the Iraqi war, keep our citizens wire-tapped, fear fear fear, propaganda, propaganda, propaganda,,, cut taxes we can't afford to cut, and there will be zero on medical care, education and stuff.
The Democrats will respond in like kind, trying to get away from the iraqi war issue by saying that we'll bring the troops home in 20 years instead of 50 years like the Repubs want, they'll try to zero in on issues directly affectly facing America but have no plan to deal with them...

Oh, wait.
Yep I'm gone. Don't know where yet but as soon as someone decides to hire me I'll be on to new adventures. I don't want to stay in Roswell.
I know someone who would hire you in a heartbeat
But you wouldn't want to be there, either.
It's worse than Roswell.
Don't blame you a bit, Ron. I'm gone from this redneck hellhole also.
I am hoping to get to somewhere that is at least 100,000 people. Small town life is not for me. Don't like'em, never did.
Funny, that's what I used to try to tell you when I was working Ros Rad lmao.
I'm hoping for the same, only I want to go at least 500,000 people.
Small towns never were for me.
